Caring Connections partners with local preschools, daycares, and centers to offer free screenings as part of an ongoing commitment to serve our community and make speech and language services more conveniently accessible to families.

Caring Connections offers free, 15-minute phone consultations for families who are feeling uncertain about their child's development status. During this call, we can discuss your concerns and determine if further evaluation, and/or referral to another related professional would be warranted.

When it comes to your child's development, conducting thorough and detailed assessments of speech and language skills is absolutely essential for gaining a deeper understanding of their unique needs and challenges. By carefully evaluating these areas, we can tailor our approach to provide the most effective support for your child’s individual development.

At Caring Connections, we prioritize a supportive environment that fosters collaboration between therapists and families. We strive to empower not only the child but also the family, providing resources and guidance to ensure consistent support at home. Through engaging activities and evidence-based practices, we aim to enhance your child's skills while making the journey enjoyable and fulfilling.

Our therapy practice values collaboration and is committed to ensuring that every child receives tailored support. Caregivers can schedule a consultation for a therapist to attend their child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meeting. Additionally, school administrators are welcome to reach out for Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE).

Maria has extensive training and experience diagnosing and treating children with confirmed or suspected Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She will begin offering week-long intensives Summer 2025. Intensives will be offered one week per month during the months of June, July, August. Details to come.
